This watch was conceived as an exercise in historical imagination: what would the everyday watch of an Italian architect living in 1960s Milan have looked like?
The timeless elegance of Breguet numerals and Dauphine hands is deliberately balanced by sportier elements—a blue central seconds hand and finely detailed minute and second tracks. Every detail is an educated reference.
The brand signature placed at 6 o’clock rather than 12 recalls a shift made by the Swiss watch industry in the 1960s to accommodate the Japanese market. The use of Breguet numerals—favored by Movado, Longines, and, of course, Patek Philippe—further anchors the design in an earlier era.
Finally, the subtle variations of grey across the dial reveal the watch’s true intent: a piece designed not to impress loudly, but to be recognized quietly by connoisseurs.
